Govee Curtain Lights Easy To Hang
The Govee Curtain lights were as advertised. Easy setup and use of the app was fairly easy. Took some time to learn how to navigate around it and figure out the custom features. The lights themselves were simple to layout, it’s a curtain of lights, about 5 feet wide and 6 feet long. I decided to use the hooks and assemble them and use the 3M adhesive. I measured from the left to right and went 6 inches to the right to the center of each hook. I did that for 10 hooks and let the hook assembly sit overnight before hanging the curtain lights. The thing I didn’t like is the LED is only lit on one side and if the LED wire lights are not all flat and get twisted they give off a slight shade if facing the wall. The brightness on the lights is very good. The Wire thickness is good and quality is there. The Color options were plenty and with the customization.

I’ve got to talk about these Govee Curtain Lights I picked up recently. As someone who loves LED lights and is a big fan of Govee products, these did not disappoint.First off, the installation was a breeze. I put them up in our large window for Christmas, and they totally transformed the space. The variety of Christmas themes available was impressive. We’re talking about 520 RGBIC LEDs that bring vibrant colors and dynamic patterns right to your window.And here’s the thing – it’s now halfway through January, and I still haven’t taken them down. That’s how much I love them. These lights aren’t just for Christmas; they have patterns for pretty much every holiday you can think of. It’s like having a year-round decoration that you can change up as you please.The Govee app integration is a huge plus. Being able to control the lights and switch between themes and patterns from my phone is super convenient. And the fact that they’re WiFi-enabled and smart home compatible just adds to the overall ease of use.Quality-wise, Govee is definitely a leader in the LED market. These curtain lights feel well-made and durable, plus they’re IP65 waterproof, which is great for outdoor use.Price is another big win here. Didn’t know I needed this in my life till I got it!
Very glad I got these and they stay up all year long now! These go in between your curtains and the window, you either have to put them between the window and your blinds or have your blinds open to use them so they can be seen outside. Just keep that in mind when planning installations. They are great, bright and have tons of presets for all occasions not just Xmas! Patterns for parties, natural settings shooting stars ext. plus you can make you’re own images and animate them though I haven’t tried this feature. They also update and add patterns.Pros – pretty simple installation, lights are controlled by a phone app, lights can be scheduled and controlled remotely, lights are pretty bright and the animations are great!Con – I wish there were more columns of lights. Don’t get me wrong, they are bright but one thing to consider is that they look better from a distance. What I mean is that if you’re viewing these lights from the street they are great or say about 15 – 20 feet away at least, the image really is easy to see. When you’re close up, it’s much harder to see the pattern. For most uses, this won’t be an issue but if you’re using this where you might be close to the lights, say a patio window, it might not be as clear what the pattern is.Really that’s the only Con. I love these and have Govee all over my house for my TVs and light bulbs. I highly recommend them and for those using DoorDash and that driver keeps missing your house, lol, you can make this a beacon that they can’t miss so they and your new friends going to your dinner party always know which place is yours. The fact that all the presets are seasonal and they even have a football animation for the super bowl makes it a must for techno geeks like myself who love leds!

Incredible product matched by incredible customer support and warranty
I have bought lots of products from Govee to deck out my office in some colorful lights but this thing is the absolute best, the colors are so rich and bright with lots of depth. The wiring itself is sturdy and really high quality wiring so you know it is built to last. The different effects and images are so much fun my friends have a blast when they walk in and see it. Govee’s app makes it really easy to program a whole room with different displays and effects I have 9 altogether and they work perfectly in sync.But the main reason I’m writing this review after about 6 months there was a single light that just was shifted just one color off and I was upset that I couldn’t troubleshoot it. In app there is a way to request a rapid replacement. I took a picture gave them my order number from my Amazon order even though it was way past the return window it was still on warranty. They responded quickly and replaced the whole item within a few days. That alone is the thing that has made me not just a fan of the Govee brand in general but a super loyal customer. A lot of these things can feel pretty gimmicky or cheap when it comes to colored lights, this is not that at all, and the fact that they have such great customer service makes this a no brainer. Can’t recommend these enough!

I’m a light nut.. I have RGB throughout my gaming setup and many rooms in the house. I have used the brand Twinkly in the past and when something breaks within a year that cost a little over $400, I will not use them again.. I decided to try out the Govee brand and I can say they don’t disappoint.. The app is easy to use and you can create your own designs, or use the always growing list of designs that the company gives you on the app.. If you get bored with those, they have the community designs you can download for free as well. They are ultra bright and can dim down to nearly nothing. So you choose how you want them to look in every aspect.I’m in Australia, so we don’t get too many of the Govee products here unfortunately. I’m hoping to get more for Xmas 2024 as I want to do my house up with lights that are all in sync.. Fingers crossed I can buy more..Great product and does exactly what it’s supposed to do…

I ordered one of these during the Black Friday deals. It arrived very quickly and after seeing the quality of the lights, wiring and the ease of the App, I ordered this 2nd set. The 2nd set took a lot longer to arrive, but it is Christmas so expected.I love how you can join up to 3 sets for the one graphic and as you can see by the photo, 2 sets look so good. I can’t wait for next Christmas when I will set up my house for more Govee products to make the neighbours envious.
