Mirror, Mirror – Held Firm Behind My Dragon’s Gaze
I used the 12″ Self Adhesive Round Acrylic Mirror as the centerpiece for a fantasy-themed art installation featuring a kid’s red dragon costume. Instead of using the adhesive backing, I wired the mirror directly to a UITC Ring Board. It held beautifully and gave me the flexibility I needed for a more dimensional piece.The mirror itself is lightweight and surprisingly reflective for acrylic. It adds depth and light without distracting from the sculpture, and it’s sturdy enough to handle being framed by a coiled dragon without warping or peeling.
