Unattached base makes lighting a candle easy.
The lanterns are really nice. They have a unique look. I like that the base isn’t connected to the top to make inserting a candle easy. I wish there was a way to connect the bottoms so that it could be picked up and moved around. They are very neutral so they can fit in with a lot of decorations in the home. It doesn’t say you can or can’t use a live candle so it is up to your preference. It is Iron and Rattan. They combine well in these pieces.
