Nice looking and places light appropriately
what can I say … it does the job! It spotlights a background. I bought it so I use my own old fashion bulbs. Alot of others have their own type of bulbs or the newer ones and I wanted to use my color changing one. The only issue is that the size of the opening is more like a tube rather than an open vessel so the light is more direct and NOT vast. But it worked enough for me to keep. Its sturdy and pretty and the cord is made sturdy – whereas with others the cords are made cheap even when the lamp is expensive and that causes the on and off switch on the cord to break.

The Catalina Lighting Modern Multipurpose Spotlight Desk or Wall Mount Accent Lamp, 6″ Brushed Nickel is a feasible accent lamp that can be wall mounted. I find the brushed nickle to be attractive, the make is sturdy, the size is adequate and its not too heavy to be wall mounted. I purchased the accent lamp to be used as a wall mounted lamp over a vanity/desk area. I use a 60 watt daylight bulb in the accent lamp which supplies a good amount of light to the area. I do not use the light for long durations. The cord is not extremely long but long enough to reach an outlet if it is within approximately 5 feet. The on/off switch it approximately 1 1/2 feet from the lamp base. The lamp angle can be adjusted and secured in place. I find the Catalina Lighting Modern Multipurpose Spotlight Desk or Wall Mount Accent Lamp, 6″ Brushed Nickel lamp to be a good purchase and a good fit for my needs. The price is right.

Innovative idea
Innovative idea: use a BR 20 Indoor Flood Light LED bulb instead of the bulb which seller suggests. This produces a true flood light which illuminates the pages of a book to permit reading 8′ away. The LED bulb does not get hot so neither does the metal lamp. In any event, the lamp is well made with a stylish design.

Perfect light for Santa
So I wanted to spiff up my Christmas decorations in my entryway. I bought this really cool Santa painting on art paper, but I needed a way to highlight it. This spotlight was perfect. I just screwed in a light bulb (and it only took one person :), plugged it in and tilted it to the right angle. I think it makes Santa proud.

Great value for your money, perfect up lighting i use on my indoor plants. Always complimented on these i own 5 now. Also added in corner behind couch. Comes ready to use. Pick the kind of light and plug in. I put mine on timers, on off by themselves

Ordered 2, one arrived in a box, the other in a plastic bag and looked like a return.
I ordered two of them to see if I could brighten up a room. First, quick delivery. Same day and arrived in the delivery window. Arrived in a plastic bag, a recycled paper box would have been more protection given the fact that one of the two was also in a plastic bag and didn’t come with the mounting screw that was with the one in a box. The one in a bag looked like a return but I can’t prove that other than parts were missing.The light bulb that I used is not fully covered by the outside tube of the fixture so you can’t place it an area where you might have to look at it. You might be able to use a spot light type LED but a regular bulb or led bulb sticks out the end.Past that, I’m sure you get what you pay for. Time will tell with this, but I’m not thrilled about this, but I’m also not going to spend my time putting it back in a package and taking it to be returned.

I bought this on sale on Warehouse Deals for 10 dollars. The regular price iscurrently listed at $106. Absurd.It’s a $25 dollar lamp. Buy one when there is a low price. It is a great deal.I like that it is small and has a clear cord that is about 4 ft long.Well made steel and does the job.
