All metal build, configurable photocell, good waterproofing
Update going into year 3 after install: still very happy. No issues. No rusting, no photocell failure.We put 2 of these up next to our garage doors, as our lot is very dark. The previous motion detecting flood lights were OK but they blasted the whole area and we have owls and other animals living around us.Here are our observations.Installation:Very easy to mount when you follow the instructions. Determine BEFORE mounting on which side you want the photocell to be screwed in. This mattered to us given that we had a rain pipe on one side and it was always dark. making the light go on during cloudy days. We then swirtched sides (remove a plug, unscrew the cell and screw it in another opening, super simple).Moutning was also easy. You really only mount the box agains the wall. the whole light unit is “hung’into the hinges once the box is up. Make sure you follow the UP and DOWN arrows on the box or the hinges will be upside down.UseThe key was that the LED’s can be directed and are little tighter angle than a regular flood light. So we could angle the lights to perfectly light the parking in front of the garage without too much light con†amination elsewhere.Its daylight , so now blue nor yellow. Just daylight.Angling is nothing more than loosening a screw and putting up the right angle (there are markings) and then tightening.These lights don’t get hot.These lights are VERY waterproof. Theyare in an exposed wet location and nothing seeps in.Light output is excellent: we light a 1200 sqft area brightly.QualityAll metal parts.Connectors are silicon infused to shield from seepage.Photocells and other screws on housing have grommets to block water.Thick, plastic lenses with mirrors that are well designed.Good packgaging and instructions.Not the cheapest but very unobtrusive and modern looking, functional. Good buy.

These lights are the best. Very easy to install (in about 10-15 min). They are very bright and perfect for lighting up anything you need it for. They are adjustable so you can get the best light. Dusk till dawn. Thank you 😊

Light up an Entry
We chose to use these on the front of our church. It was the perfect choice. It shines down on the entry but does not blind the neighbors that surround the church. Good quality, easy enough to install and work great.

2024:Still working.2021:They both work correctly. These have the lowest lumens I found to date. I wish they were half as bright. I put one on the garage, one on the house, 40′ apart. It was way too bright. The photo sensor seems to work correctly for me.All I wanted was enough light to get from the garage to the house without stepping in a mud hole or tripping over a snow drift / slush pile. I unhooked the light on the house to reduce light pollution. I hate light pollution which is why I looked for down pointing limited coverage lights. With just the light on the garage, 15 ft above ground level, I have more than enough light to find my keys and unlock the door on the house. It lights the 70 ft wide by 30 ft deep parking / driveway area brighter than I need. The good news is that it’s not blinding traffic on the street the way the standard dual flood motion light did.I really wish there was a 1000lumen version. I may have to build my own to get exactly what I want.

I went to the box stores as I still like to give them business as they deserve it but in this case it was not comparable and to b fair this is what I like about Amazon providing more choices. 30W LED is really bright (no picture as I installed at father in laws last week). I also like the durability real metal and easy to wire. Great value on the 2 pack. This is a dusk to dawn and is cheap to run for the year, do the math and u will b surprised.

Lowest Lumen light I could find in that style , still a bit bright but will work great ! Seems to be built well , comes with a box built in that can be used as such or you can attach on top of elec box . Photo cell easy to disconnect if you want to put on switch only !
