Nicely made clock with a glass-covered face. Unfortunately, I received the incorrect model.
I recently ordered this “Decorative Wall Clocks Batterys Operated, Retro Wall Clock with Glass Dial, 12-Inch Dial with Roman Numerals, Silent and No Ticking, Suitable for Living Room, Bedroom, Dining Area, Workspace” to add to my Wall O’ Clocks in the living room. I chose the version I did because I liked the colors and would be able to use it as a decorative accessory later on. Sadly, the version I received is completely different – one of the many models I looked at and decided against. The clock I received is version “D,” which has an image of butterflies and roses on it. The clock I ordered was “B” and was simply multi-colored panels with numerals in each. I liked the simplicity of it. I definitely do not like the butterfly version. It’s bound to be the perfect decorative accent for many people, but I’m not one of them. I’ll just try to find a recipient for it later on because the clock itself looks like a decent quality item and I’m always keen on wall clocks with covered faces like this one.This clock runs on a single AA battery (not included). This clock is true to size and measures a foot across. They included a hanger, which I think is a nice touch, even if it isn’t of the type I would personally choose. The clock is reasonably lightweight and should have no issues with most hangers. The quality of the printing is good and the colors displayed look the same as depicted on the product image for the model I received.This clock was priced at $19.99 when I placed my order and I think it’s a good value for the money. I just wish the version I received was a style I liked. It isn’t, but I’m sure to find someone who loves it. If this were a normal Amazon order (rather than a Vine-review-related order), I would simply return it and have the correct clock sent as a replacement. Sadly, that is not an option, so I’m left with a clock which, at best, will serve as a gift for someone else.Happy to recommend, but would be obviously happier if I received the correct version. It isn’t the fault of the seller that the incorrect model was shipped, and I am leaving this rating at 5-stars, based entirely on the quality of the received product, and with the expectation that had I received the version I selected, the quality would be equivalent.
