Sweet Commemorative Ornament
My sister teaches at a local Montessori school, where they observe and celebrate the traditions of many faiths and cultures. She is always looking for something new and different to use in her classroom or on her bulletin board, which is just outside the door. The Hindu Festival of Lights (Diwali) is coming up next month, and when I saw this little ornament, I thought she might be able to use it. The colors are beautiful, and it has a kind of stained glass look to it. It came in a little kraft envelope, with a Christmas message, which I thought was funny, but charming. It also came with a beautiful thank you card, with an inspiring message for people of all faiths or none. I thought it was a nice, thoughtful touch. My sister loves this little piece, and is trying to decide if she wants to hang it in the window of her class, hang it on the bulletin board, or use it in some other way. She was charmed by all the same things I was, the colors, the vibrancy, and the tradition of Diwali. For $5.99, this is a lovely way to commemorate a holiday that means so much to so many.

Lovely jewel tones, makes a nice gift
Beautiful ornament.We always give our neighbors a gift for Diwali and this will be a lovely addition to their hamper. The colors will be lovely with the lights shining through it, the design is beautiful, and the jewel tones are perfect.The packaging including Christmas stuff is odd but it was something unexpected and not something I was paying for.Would recommend !
