Great Quality and Beautiful Color
These Guken blue linen blackout curtains look beautiful and feel high quality. The color is exactly like the photos, and the fabric has a nice linen texture. They block a good amount of light and were very easy to hang. They drape nicely and make the room look more stylish. Great value for the price!

I got the cream. They are so so good! Best curtains I’ve ever bought. They block out enough light considering they are a beautiful, light, natural color. They look expensive. Seem to be well made. Fit my windows perfectly. Sturdy material. I was able to lightly mist then steam them to get the wrinkles out easily. Would totally buy again.

Thick, Stylish, and Truly Blackout Curtains!
These blackout curtains are excellent quality thick, durable, and they truly block out light, making a room nice and dark. They have a high-end look but come at a very fair price. The length is perfect, so you don’t need multiple panels to make your windows look full on a curtain rod. Overall, a stylish and practical addition to any room!

Good curtains if the color works for your space
I ended up returning these simply because the color wasn’t a match for my room—they blended into the wall too much and it was giving a hospital vibe lol, but in the right setting I could see how these would be cute.They were a little stiff but seemed good quality. When I briefly had them up, the blackout was really good and it did make my room nice and dark.I highly recommend having a steamer if you get these; they were very creased out of the package, I just didn’t bother steaming them since I planned to return them.I only took 2 photos of them (and one is really just of my cat lol but behind her you can see the texture of the fabric pretty clearly and the color).

Stylish and Effective Blackout Curtains

Quality 100% blackout/thermal curtain liner
I’ve used blackout/thermal curtain liners now for over 20+ years. Working nights, they were sorely needed to get a good “night” sleep. I discovered also how well they dampen noise & keep heat & cold out.The building where I live now is old, around 1965, but the area is not only safe but in a park-like setting. Built on a slight slope the building is settling/shifting which creates cracks & drafts.There are 2 kinds of blackout/thermal curtains:1) liners which hang behind favorite curtains that are not lined & let some light, heat, & cold in. These liners are fairly low priced and could be used with or without decorative panels.2) panels in different materials & patterns with blackout/thermal linings fused/combined. Usually much more expensive.GUKEN white linen blackout & thermal curtains come in different colors and could be used as is without cover panels or as liners.The slight stiffness comes from the middle black “blackout” layer that is fused between 2 lighter linen look materials (densely woven to hide the black layer). Usually a wash on delicate settings, drying also on delicate, but removed from the dryer before fully dry, will remove all creases & folds. DO NOT iron! The bottom seam of the curtains are open (perfect!!) and curtain-weights can be inserted.Both panels are in the same color without variations, well sewn with back-tabs, rod-hanging, or clip hanging possibilities. Liner weight is just right to use with a tension rod. GUKEN blackout curtains are definitely 100% blackout, no light is shining through the panels!A word of caution: many manufacturer call their liners or curtains “blackout” but when you read the fine print, it’s only 80-90% which can make a big difference in performance.Quality, usefulness, at an unbeatable price! By my experience, with a little care, these curtains will last a long time & will save energy. At today’s energy prices, anything that curtails heat & cold is a long term investment/winner.I highly recommend GUKEN curtains/liners!Update 12/28/2025I’ve been using this set since October on my patio door. The height of window & door is between available measurements and I’d planned to shorten them – eventually (lol)! I’m glad I didn’t as the curtain really keeps any draft/cold coming through the sliding door & tiled floor.During a recent freeze I noticed how well the cold temperatures are kept out. Since I open my patio door every evening, I’m feeding community cats living on my patio, I can really tell the difference in the temperature even before opening the door!I just bought another set of the same curtains for my bedroom’s large window and am certain it will help with my energy expenses, basically paying for itself by keeping the cold out.If you’re trying to keep your energy bills within reason, I highly recommend this excellent product!

Attractive, good quality curtains for a competitive price.
I have outfitted two bedrooms with these blackout curtains. They are very nice for their price point.! I washed mine (following directions) to remove sizing and wrinkles. They were a little damp when I hung them which helps creases and wrinkles fall out. They drape well. I chose ivory which blends in with my pale grey walls, they actually appear pale grey as the value is the same. Waiting on my sand beige curtains for a third bedroom. I have an older home with original windows so these will definitely help with winter and summer temperature extremes. Nice they are blackout, especially in my guest bedrooms. I think they have a classy, minimalist look. Take the time when hangingng them to form pleats with the tab backs. Gently smooth down the full length. Fabric has memory!

Great Quality True Blackout
I bought these curtains for my baby’s nursery that doesn’t have walls. So it was important to me that the “inside” of the panels were a light neutral color that went with her nursery. These worked perfectly. I love the texture and color of the front of the panels too. It’s that perfect stone color. And they truly blockout light unlike other curtains I’ve tried. You can hang them through the slots or the seen in panel at the top.

I put these ivory curtains up in my bedroom. The lining in these curtains are sort of rubbery. I like it as I have a cold window and this helps keep the cold and condensation out of my room. They need to be ironed or steamed to get out the wrinkles when you take them out of packaging. I don’t like grommets anymore so the rod & tab also work for me. I put white sheers under them for a softened look in the bedroom.These are definitely blackout.

The curtains looked good but then measured them and they are not the 84 inches as described, 83 instead. And the wrinkles are not coming out. Very disappointing. Will have to return them.
