Luminara Flameless LED Moving Flame Tapers are made with 100% pure paraffin wax, hand poured and carefully designed to look like traditional candles. Battery operated electric candles are safer to use: running children, dancing couples, and rambunctious pets can knock these candles over without fear. The lack of soot and chemicals released in the air makes them ideal for indoor use. Although not waterproof, they can be used as outdoor candles on clear days.
These flickering flameless candles are designed to look as realistic as possible. The light is a warm white color encased in a yellow flame. This increases the realism when you combine it with the automatic flickering effect. The tapers themselves are the traditional ivory color of most white candles. The flickering candle set takes 2 AA batteries per taper. This should provide about 200 hours of runtime. Batteries are not included. When using the timer function, the candle will light up for 5 hours, and then automatically shut off for 19 hours. Can be used with any Luminara remote control. Candles are beautiful. They feel like real candles & when turned on, they look like real candles. Love them so much I already bought 2 more tapers & will likely purchase a pillar in the future along with a remote.

Great ambience
Been enjoying these candles for about a month. As someone who is sensitive to smells and is looking to keep my house free of toxins these are a perfect way to create ambience without the traditional scent of candles. The flickering flame looks real and casts a subtle light that’s perfect for any mood. The real wax feel adds to the overall look. They fit perfectly in my traditional candle stick holders. Great battery life and I like they automatically turn on so I can have a cozy experience without having to think about it.

While these candles do not come with a remote control, you can set a timer simply by clicking the button twice on the candles to set a timer that will keep your candles on for a few hours. Worth the price
These are more expensive than most but the quality is noticeably better. They have moving parts to flicker and they look much more realistic than others. They have a wax outer layer and the battery life is substantially better than the cheaper options. You end up paying the same in the cost of batteries but here you also get a quality of beautiful candle.

They Don’t Flicker! Save Your Money!
I bought these luminara tapers about 5 years ago. They worked great for five years. Changed the batteries every so often and had no issues. They were great. Unfortunately one candlestick recently broke so I thought I’d purchase another set. They dont work. Save your money and your time. The flame doesnt flicker despite changing out the batteries and following instructions for troubleshooting. After about a half an hour they just stop flickering. I returned one set and purchased a second set thinking maybe I got a bad set. Exact same problem with the second set. Returning second set too. Don’t waste your time on these until they figure out the internal mechanism issue with these taper candlesticks. Now Im in search of something else for my mantel. Very frustrating.

I really love these candles. The flame effect is quite realistic. They are made of wax which gives them a nice finish. Pricey, but worth it. I have cats, so real candles are not suitable.

Ho acquistato queste candele qualche tempo fa e non le avevo mai usate, ora ho provato ad usarle e mi sono accorto che si accendono per 30 secondi al massimo e poi si spendono, ho provato a sostituire le batterie ma il problema persiste e le rendono inutilizzabili. Mi piacerebbe sapere se è capitato solo a me e se è possibile risolvere il problema. Grazie

These are the best faux candles I have seen. The only slight downside is that the colour of the taper candles is a little ‘dirty’ looking rather than the ivory colour of the wax candles from Luminara which is brighter.
