Wrapped with real birch bark, this flameless candle is perfect for bringing the outdoors indoors! This style of flameless candle is capable of being operated by a remote (sold separately). It is turned on and off by a switch on the bottom, which also activates the timer.
Luminara Flameless LED Moving Flame Pillar Candles are made with 100% pure paraffin wax, hand poured and carefully designed to look like traditional candles. They are safer to use than traditional candles, since no actual combustion or wax consumption happens. That means no soot or chemicals are released into the air, making them perfect for use indoors. They’re perfect for households with small curious children and rambunctious pets.
The light is a warm white color encased in a yellow flame designed to be as realistic as possible. It automatically flickers when you turn the candle on, increasing the realism. The real paraffin wax is a traditional ivory color. Perfect for year-round use, they will go with just about any style. Use on their own, or as part of centerpieces for holidays, DIY wedding decorations, or whenever you want a bit of sparkle to your décor.
The candles take 2 AA batteries, and provide up to 200 hours of runtime. Batteries are not included. When using the timer function, the candle will light up for 5 hours, and then automatically shut off for 19 hours. With proper care, these flameless candles will provide years of lovely, safe illumination.
Candles come packaged in sturdy boxes to protect them during the shipping process. They also are easy to wrap without having to search for just the right shaped box. They make excellent presents for any occasion–Christmas, birthdays, Mother’s Day, party hostess gifts, or even for yourself!

Beautiful Candle
I love luminara flameless candles. They are so realistic. This birch candle is perfect decor for year round. The timer function is nice to use if you want the candle to come on the same time every year day. Or you can simply turn it on and off when you choose to. I find the battery life runs about 4 months if you use the timer so it goes on for 6 hours a day. These candles are a bit pricy but they are well worth it. I haven’t used the remote control, so I’m unable to review that functionality at this time.

Woodsy!
I did a woodsy theme this year for the holidays and these candles really complete the look. My cats freaked out a little at the moving flame but that’s how real it looks! They come in when they’re supposed to, and the batteries are lasting a long time. Love the remote function, even though I haven’t used it. Looks so life like!

A beautiful candle, used a ring that was only fall leaves, pine cones and pip berries. Really outstanding, so far timer wells fine and so far not a battery gobbler.

I give it 5 stars, but the photos give the impression that it is a little multi dimensional, meaning the strips of bark look like they might stand out a little from the wax. The candle is smooth all the way around with the strips of bark being smooth and not protruding from the wax at all. Still a beautiful candle that can be displayed year around.

Excellent candles that look good and look real
Admittedly, I wasn’t sure about the LED candles, but these have been great. They look real and the birch outside is a very nice touch. Definitely are quality and worth the price. The remote (I think I bought my separately) works well and makes these easy to put in centerpieces and displays that may be hard to read. The remote is line of sight, so you have to point it at the candles. I have multiple of these in different sizes and the batteries tend to last a long time. Can’t go wrong with these and you never have to worry about forgetting to blow them out, or about anything around them getting burned. Excellent choice!

A Beautiful Birch Luminara
Let me start by saying I LOVE Luminara candles. I own many but the Birch line are my favorites. This 4”x5” Birch candle takes two D batteries and is an absolute stunning candle. They also have a 4”x7” size which I am tempted to buy as well. With Real Wrapped Birch, every candle will be different and may not look as pictured. I have included pictures of both the front and back of my candle showing the Birch Bark I received as well as the back seam wrap line. Also to give some perspective, I have included a photo showing my smaller 3.5”x4.5” Birch Luminara candles. The smaller one on the left takes 2 AA batteries, and the one on the right takes 2 C batteries. You can see how the Birch is different on all but all work well together. Highly recommend getting the remote too!UPDATE – seems all these Luminara candles, including the Birch line, now only take AA batteries. They are still my favorite flameless candles.

I am so happy with this candle! I don’t like burning real candles anymore. And flameless candles are the way I go now.I had a real birch bark wrapped candle but did not light it. And after many years I DEFINITELY did not want to burn it because the bark was REALLY dry. So when I saw this I purchased it right away and it does not disappoint. Looks exactly like the real candle I had.
