Matchless Candle Co. by Luminara Flameless LED Moving Flame Pillar Candles are made with 100% pure paraffin wax, hand-poured, and carefully designed to look like traditional candles. They are safer than conventional candles since no combustion or wax consumption happens. That means no soot or chemicals are released into the air, making them perfect for use indoors. They’re ideal for households with small curious children and rambunctious pets.
The light is a warm white color encased in a yellow flame designed to be as realistic as possible. It automatically flickers when you turn the candle on, increasing the realism.
The candles take 2 AA batteries and provide 150 hours of runtime. Batteries are not included. When using the timer function, the candle will light up for 5 hours, and then automatically shut off for 19 hours. With proper care, these flameless candles will provide years of lovely, safe illumination.

Great candles!
These candles are worth it! Realistic glow and look. I love the timer feature…just set and forget! I’ve only had them for a few weeks, so I can’t speak of the battery life.

These candles are amazing and so real looking. I love them. Well packed easy to set up. Doesn’t come with a remote but has a timer option on it. I am very happy with this purchase. Exactly what I was looking for. Not the cheapest ones but worth the money.

Pleasant and realistic
I have some of these candles and I ordered them for my daughter because I liked mine so much. She loves hers too. There’s no worries about Flames or pets getting near knocking it over and starting a fire, because there is no real flame. It runs on batteries and from a distance they Flicker and look realistic and add a pleasant Ambience to the room. I got the ones that have pine needles and red berries and I ordered the three white ones for my daughter. Both styles are absolutely gorgeous and I highly recommend this product. I put it on timer and it goes for what seems like four hours and then shuts itself off. When I first got them I forgot that I had them on and the next evening when I was sitting in the living room they suddenly turned themselves on again and I realized that it’s because I had them set on timer. What a great bonus that is in my opinion because just when it gets dark they came on and it was lovely to have them working throughout the evening. They shut off by themselves just as I was about to go to bed. I’m really well pleased with these candles

These Matchless Candle Co. by Luminara candles have been a total game-changer in our house. With kids running around and a Great Dane whose tail has a mind of its own, real candles were always a disaster waiting to happen—spilled wax, near-misses, and constant worry.These flameless candles, though? Absolutely perfect. They give off a beautiful, realistic glow without any of the fire hazard or mess. They’ve been knocked over more times than I can count, and they still look and work like new. If you want the cozy ambiance of candles without the stress, these are the way to go.

Expensive but beautiful
Beautiful candles. Very close to being realistic. However, I wish they weren’t expensive. I would have purchased their candle sticks too. Without the remote control, you can’t adjust/dim the lights. its pretty obvious its a fake candle when its at the brightest setting. You can see the LED reflection on the walls. I wouldn’t buy this candles without a great discount. You’re better off waiting for a lower price. But overall, if your not concern about pricing, this item is great. It looks real, feels real, and looks absolutely great.

Best looking flameless candle! Even more features with remote!
UPDATE: Ordered a “Matchless Candle 10 Button Remote”. Works flawlessly and you get way more features! Ability to turn the candle on/off, change flicker speed to slow/fast, 5 levels of dimming, static light and 4, 6, 8, 10 hr timers. Make sure the candle is in the “ON” position for the remote to work. It will control one or all candles that are grouped closely. The remote will also work with most Matchless Candle Co, Luminara and Pottery Barn candles as they are all the same manufacturer.I first saw these style of flameless candles at Pottery Barn. They are $50+ per candle there. These were on sale for a great price for a set of three! I went a bit wild and ordered 15 sets and very happy I did.Some might say that these style candles are directional, as in best viewed during certain angles. I did not find that to be the case, and I think it looks good from any angle. On the contrary, even though there is technically a “front” side of the candle, I found that it looks more realistic from the side since the flame appears skinnier. I even think the back of the candle looks better than the front, although you may get a glare from the LEDs if you’re very close to the candle.The candle has a timer function which stays on for 5 hrs and off for 19 hrs. Even though it doesn’t come with a remote, the manual does say it’s compatible with one. I’m confident that if I order a candle that includes a remote from the same company, that it will also work with these. In my case, that will actually work out better because I also don’t need 15 remotes if they were included.All in all, these are some of the best and most realistic flameless candles out there!

Very realistic!
Most realistic looking flameless candles. I have bought other cheaper ones before that just look fake. These ones look real. The operate with a remote and last several hours. A little more expensive than other brands but totally worth it!

I should state… I am a perfectionist. I have several Luminara brand candles (approx 12), and these are very close to being just as good… for the price, way better deal. Only thing I noticed immediately, was the battery compartment seems a little less quality… but functional. From my observation, I do not see any “Luminara” branding on them. And to my surprise , the Luminara remote does work! As for timer and functionality, time will tell… just got them. Update… timer works!
