Very Convenient and Functional
I love that these keep my candlesticks clean and that they are foil and can shaped and easily cut to fit most standard candlesticks. I was using standard kitchen foil before I found these but these are much more convenient. What I do is place the candle in the foil first, squeeze the foil around the candle base to adjust the width to hold the candle tightly and then insert both into my candlestick and then shape the cup so that it’s not so noticeable and trim any excess off the edges. I can use them several times before I replace them depending on what type of candle I’m using.

Exactly what I expected – and perfect!
Finally I don’t have to keep crunching pieces of aluminum foil around the bases of my candles, I can use these. And they’re inexpensive enough, and in a box of 50, that I won’t feel guilty when I use a new pair. They’re sturdy enough to be reused a few times without looking worn. And if you use them with silver candlesticks, they’ll mostly blend in.The bottoms, being foil, can easily be molded to fit whatever size candle base you have, for taper and Shabbat candles. The box says the bottoms of the foil holders can also be cut away, if you want to use them for a candlelight vigil, and put them at the middle of the candle.All in all, they’re pretty, practical, and very easy to use. And priced right.

Surprisingly useful!
This is one of those things I wish I’d found long ago. The amount of melted wax that isn’t getting all over the place, particularly the candlesticks, is only part of the surpise. The also candles seem to burn more steadily. I had expected to use one pair every week, but because these promote the candles burning completely, there is little or no residue in them. So I use one pair -so far- 3 times before changing to a new set. I no longer think of these as petty-luxury, since they save me so much time in clean-up every single week.

They are good candle holders
We have a standard Shabbat candle setup and these candle holders keep the drips off the candle holder and off the table. They also reflect the light of the candles back up into the room for a very shabbat-like effect. If you haven’t tried these candle holders, you don’t know what you’re missing (because you haven’t tried them). And honestly, who doesn’t want to know what they’re missing? How would you know whether or not you liked it? Plus, there’s a small chance that the dripping wax might cause a fire, and then things would be bad. Real bad. And these little aluminum cups can prevent all that. Look, if I haven’t convinced you already, I don’t know what else to say. Come over to our place for Shabbat and see for yourselves.

I use the disposable candle holders every Friday night when I light Sabbath candles. I have candlesticks that I put the holders with candle in. First I melt some wax from the bottom of the candle into the holder. I have used these before and am totally satisfied with them. However, I was surprised it took so long to receive them.
