Very pretty, nice brightness
I bought these lights for Christmas, but I like them so much that I’m leaving them up inside for awhile.The different modes are very interesting and work fine, but I have to stand pretty close to the plug for the remote to work. Be prepared to spend a lot of time straighten out the lights at first, they are closely twisted together to fit into a small box and you need to be gentle and patient with them. Nice product, I think I’ll buy some more.

A slight pain unraveling it at the start; however, I found that vigorously shaking the bits that are intertwined helped untangle them. I think when I pack them up again I will use some twist ties to tie the dangly portion to the upper line they hang from to make it easier for next Christmas season. The lights have multiple settings and a 6 hour on and 18 hour off timer you can set, or you can use the remote control to turn them on, off, or change the light settings at your convenience. Also, another review noted that it didn’t come with an “American” outlet and showed a picture of the two ends. Disregard that. These lights can be connected to another string of the same lights. The connecters are two rounded prongs that go into the other end with two rounded sockets. The rounded prong end eventually goes into the “American” plug part that plugs into a US outlet, so apparently that reviewer either didn’t get the outlet part or didn’t take all the contents out of the box they received.

Remote not working to change the flashing lights
My remote doesn’t work and the lights are stuck on a flashing mode (which is very annoying). I cannot get the remote open to change the battery, which has been time consuming and frustrating. Anyone have some tips for opening it? It looks like there is a tiny screw, but I cannot turn it. The directions appear to indicate that you squeeze on each side of the battery compartment and then you can pull it out, but this is not working on my remote.

Current leakage means they don’t fully turn off, but they are pretty!
These look great and I love that they’re dimmable, and gave a remote. On the downside, they don’t fully turn off when using the remote. They retain a very light glow that lasts until turned on again (18 hours later) , which indicates the a current leakage. It’s very faint and not enough to keep me from using them, but we’ll be unplugging when out of the house just in case, which does negate the remote/ease a bit.Not the best workmanship, but you get what you pay for.

I’ll start by saying that my package arrived 6 days late, and I was counting on the date I placed the order. Secondly, the lights looked like they were used, the writing on the batteries was erased, the remote control doesn’t work. The lights worked for a few hours, then stopped. We changed the batteries, and the same thing happened, they barely blinked. I was promised a 40% refund for the late delivery, but then they changed their mind and didn’t give me any refund, despite the fact that the item wasn’t working. Poor quality, poor service, I don’t recommend buying this product.

You will have to have patience to unwrap these lights!! While they are pretty once you get them hung, the lights are yellow….not white or bright. Do not use these outdoors as the wind will tangle them.
