Solved Drafts, Sun Glare, and Even My Cat’s Curtain Habits
My bedroom windows are… dramatic. Depending on the season, they either let in way too much cold or way too much heat. Add in the fact that my bedroom faces the west, and by afternoon it turns into a full-on sun stage—terrible for naps…Then there’s my Siamese cat, who loves sunbathing on the window sill and absolutely refuses to close the curtains afterward (rude). I needed something that would block light and drafts without interfering with her royal sun schedule.I added these blackout curtains behind my existing curtain set, and that turned out to be the perfect solution. She can still climb in and out of the window, but the sun no longer sneaks in through gaps. In the pics, you can see how my old curtains let light in even when “closed.” These? Problem solved!!!They do a great job of blocking sunlight, helping keep heat out in warmer months and cold out in cooler ones, and they stay put even after a cat has made herself comfortable. I also love the magnetic curtain tie-back, which makes opening and closing them quick and easy.Bottom line: these curtains handled drafts, sun glare, naps, and a stubborn cat all at once. Stylish, functional, and honestly kind of heroic. 😀 😀

Pretty Decent Curtains
These curtains are a good pick. Definitely block out a lot of light. They’re long, strong, thick, but also sort of heavy. They’re very high quality, though. I am a bit worried as to how things will go when it comes to washing them. Because of the weight and thickness of them. But I believe these are a good choice. Really beautiful and high quality.

Lovely Curtains
I hung these in the bedroom of my Airbnb to ensure my guests don’t get woken up by the sunrise at 5 AM and they work like a charm. The beige linen texture looks incredibly high end and expensive compared to those shiny polyester blackout curtains you usually see. They have a nice weight to them and drape beautifully right out of the package. They truly block out the light and help insulate the window which saves on the heating bill too.

I was amazed at how much cold they keep out from an outside wall.The material looks and feels luxurious with an exceptional thermal blackout backing. The curtains are well made with beautiful stitching.I love that the curtains have three options for hanging. They come with metal ring clips for hanging. They are nice, but do not seal out all the light. The sewn tabs make a smooth clean look, while still being easy to open and shut. The curtains also have the regular hem type casing for the rod. They come with magnetic tie backs that are well made and classic looking.I am amazed by all the quality for such a low price. I have already ordered another pair!
