Perfect for the money…use the right battery!
For the price, this clock is awesome and looks more expensive than it is. The case finish is a realistic looking bronze. The face, although it’s just glued-on paper, also looks like a more substantial material and has just the right color and shading to resemble a vintage item that’s been well taken care of. One week in, it’s keeping perfect time.Instead of a regular battery, I used a zinc carbon battery, since those are easier on clock movements. There was even an inset in the box with this clock recommending zinc carbon.

This clock got my attention based on the reviews Amazon customers gave! I’m glad I made the purchase in a Bronze color, and in a 12in size! I admit my vision is changing and I really love the clocks version versus the digital. It helps your children and grandchildren to have a better understanding learning the difference and understanding how to read a clock. Our new kitchen clock matches our outlet cover plates too! Easy to clean and very lightweight! Only requires one AA battery. Comes with a bracket to install in your wall. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! It’s very light
The clock is so light. It’s not made of metal. My last clock that looked similar and smaller 9” weighted more than this 12”. But I love it. The lightness makes it easier to hang. It makes so ticking sound. The aesthetic is simple, classic and perfect.

I day I got my package through the mail for this wall clock I immediately hung it on the wall, replacing a wall clock that was close to 20 years old. Unlike the old clock this wall clock is quite, not a peep as far as noise goes, and it has not lost one minute of time this installing the battery. I would highly recommend this product to anyone needing a quiet and reliable, and good looking I might add, wall clock.
