A bit tricky, but very nice final result!!
As others have mentioned, not the easiest installation but SO worth the effort! Definitely glad I followed the other reviewers’ advice to: 1) NOT attach the mirrored pieces to the foam parts until you have them all positioned in their final locations to avoid cracking them (even knowing that I still managed to snap one of them – fortunately near the edge where two roman numerals connect, so not so noticeable), 2) NOT remove all of the paper from the sticky backs of the foam until you are 110% certain they’re where you want them and perfectly aligned, and 3) NOT attempt to attach the clock mechanism or the fragile hands onto the base until you’re all done with everything else!!! Thank you to the others for the great tips!! Also as others noted, the enclosed alleged “English” instructions barely make sense – grammatically or logically, but I did find the provided paper template helpful in positioning the numbers from the center of the base – although I did need a level, a measuring tape and a second person’s opinion to help me with the leveling and spacing of the numbers from one another. I bought the roman numeral version and chose to orient the numbers horizontally, as opposed to circularly as shown in the company’s picture. It’s only been a week, but so far no issues with the clock keeping time, or with the numbers falling down. Overall, I’m VERY happy I took a risk on such a unique project and extremely happy with how this simple DIY clock makes such an elegant statement while filling my large dining room wall space – see picture for the full effect. If you’re pretty handy and more than a little patient, go for it!! 🙂

We ordered this product almost 2 years ago and it has not lost its adhesive since then
I absolutely love this wall clock decor! I ordered it almost two years ago and it has been in place since then. The numbers are still in their original place without falling off of the wall !

Double check the foam color if it matters to you.
I have to say that the reason I am unhappy with my purchase is not really anyones fault. I didn’t realize that the particular clock I ordered is silver with black foam underneath. The example picture has a silver clock against a dark wall. It’s not clear that the backing on the numbers is black … because the black wall hides it. It is really horrible on my wall as I don’t have any black in my living room at all! In fact I flat out hate it. It just doesn’t work. But now that it’s on the wall and it will probably be unreturnable if I take it down…. I’ll have to live with it. I’m thinking about painting the foam….. Mostly easy to assemble, just don’t rush it. Be aware that once you put the actual number on top of the foam, it’s difficult to take off without breaking it. I cracked one number clean in half with hardly any pressure. I recommend making sure the foam is placed perfectly before you but the tops on, because the silver number will crack if you try to remove it.

Not Worth the trouble installing
I finally got a chance to install this clock. It did not work as the hour hand either gets stuck or falls off easily.

I love this clock. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the hardware did not fit properly and I had to Jimmy rig it to make it work. Amazon was very gracious in supporting me with this issue. They refunded me the entire amount so I ordered a second clock and only used the hardware for it. Now it is PERFECT!It is a little time consuming getting it all together, and I highly recommend using the provided ruler spacer thing. The adhesive is extremely strong on the numbers so it is crucial to place it where you want it the first time around, otherwise it will pull off the paint on your wall.Anyways, if you’re looking or a elegant looking clock to fill up a large space on your wall, this is the clock you want. I’ve had so many comments on it, everybody loves it and wants one of their own.

Good price for a big impact on our dining room wall. I thought it was of cheap quality as it came in a small box. But once you start with your DIY, it’s fun and exciting. The laserlike cut outs of the numbers were impressing too. The 3D effect of the wall gives it a classy look. I just hope the clock mechanism lasts, as thats always the case of large wall clocks.
